Can Graphic Design & Maketing entice people to learn?

I believe in graphic design as an effective communication outlet. It has proven itself to be the best way to market an idea or product. I do not condone the more shady and unethical practices used to sell, but it proves to be effective again and again. I am not suggesting that I will begin using those methods, but the method of getting the message to the masses exists here and will work without lying or stretching the truth. I believe in graphic design as a medium for teaching people and look for ways to help others see the difference and make better informed judgements about their selctions.
